PD Dr. Roberto Saglia is staff member at the MPE and Privatdozent at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. He received his PhD at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa (1990), worked as an ESA fellow at the Oxford University, in the "Sonderforschungsbereich" 375 "Evolution of Galaxies" at the Landessternwarte Heidelberg and at the Mathematics Department of the Universita' di Pisa as a researcher. From 1994 to 2003 he was Akademischer Rat at the Munich University Observatory, where he organized the Astronomy Experiments course at the Ludwig-Maximillians-University.
