  • Congratulations!
    IMPRS Alumna Katja Fahrion (2018-2021 at ESO) has been awarded for her outstanidng work the FWF ASTRA price. This five-year grant will allow her to build a group to study star clusters and explore how to use them to measure extragalactic distances.

  • 25year IMPRS on Astrophysics
    On September 18, our IMPRS on Astrophysics Graduate School celebrated its 25th anniversary. At the ceremony, representatives from the participating institutes MPE, MPA, ESO, and USM, from the MPG General Administration, as well as students and alumni spoke about the significance and successes of our IMPRS School. Afterwards, a reception was held to toast to the next 25 years.
